Dave Maratos started the Pretoria Building Company over 40 years ago. After having worked from a young age in the industry and starting out life as a young apprentice, Dave decided it was time to set up shop for himself. Armed with a small amount of tools and little start up cash, he quickly made a name for himself by providing a low cost service to the local residents of his area. Through continued hard work, consistent investment and careful recruitment of the correct skill sets, the business grew into what we see before us today – a complete turnkey building solutions company.

As the company grew, the services on offer became vast and now offers some of the most innovative design and construction solutions in the area. From the basic building work and brick laying through to complete new homes, nothing is out of the reach of our team. We provide every aspect of the trade and have a team of additional tradesmen on the books for larger site jobs.
